Ordered Rava Idli (12 small pieces) from #CurryLeaf restaurant (Hazratganj) through #Swiggy at a price point of Rs 90 after applying the coupon code of 30%
1: Taste
Steaming Hot & Puffy Rava Idlis were just too good according to my likeness with the the right amount of moisture content, softness level and cottony appearance.

The side accompaniments in the form of #Sambar, #CoconutChutney and #KaraChutney did perfect justice to the main dish. *
Sambar had a perfect sourness level with the right amount of required veggies and its consistency was absolutely on point in my opinion.
*Coconut Chutney had a dominant flavour of fresh coconut and raw peanuts. It was totally white in appearance and traces of freshly grinded coconut were easily visible with the naked eye.
*Kara Chutney (Orangish Red in colour- I have used it to decorate the idlis) could have been a little better with some more salt and tamarind added to it.
2: Portion Size
Good enough for one person
Rating: 5/5
3: Packaging Standard
The side accompaniments were delivered in an air tight plastic container (with tape over it to avoid leakage) which were very well placed in the carry bag along (with branding over it) with 2 tissue papers, one wooden spoon and the Idlis were sealed packed in an aluminium foil.
Rating: 5/5

4: Price Range
It was very well priced at Rs 90 (after applying discount coupon) considering the taste, portion size, brand name and packaging standard.
Rating: 5/5
Kudos to the entire team of Curry Leaf for keeping your standards high on all parameters.
#AddOn
Origin of Rava Idli took place in 1918 during World War-2 due to the shortage of main staple food i.e. pulses and rice.
There used to a lot of trading between southern parts of India and South East Asia, mainly Indonesia. So a lot of people used to come to India from Indonesia (For cooking purpose, marriage fucntions) and they transformed the earlier famous rice idli to steamed idli and that too by the usage of gehu ka rawa (semolina or sooji)
Commercially, it was first started in India in
India in 1924 by Mavalli Tiffin Room Restaurant in Bangalore.
